Wins The Pole @ Myrtle Beach Speedway (Championship Series)
Joey took the first green flag lap (first car) at the new Iowa's Speedway in Hooter Pro Cup Championship Series.  He was the first car to take the first lap on the brand new speedway owned by Rusty Wallace.
Age: 16
Joey walks away from 1 1/2 years in Hooters Pro cup Series, making history for being the youngest three time winner in series history. He will begin running the Busch East Series as soon as that series starts.
2006 Joey Logano was among 16 development finalist drivers selected for GM Racing's Three-Step NASCAR's net generation of stars. They started September 12th with two days in Busch cars at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, NC., and moved the next week to North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth and the Dale McDowell Dirt School. Finishing at Nashville Super speed way. Joey Logano was the overall driver at the GM Racing Development Driver Evaluation of 2006.
